For those who live alone, or those who care about a person who lives alone, this program delivers a notification when the computer in use has been idle for a set period of time. [For those who are constantly on Facebook, this may not be a problem, because a small green dot, beside the person's name, indicates that they are active... also how many hours / days they've been off, if a green dot is absent.] Run it anyway. Although the program asks for email addresses of the people you wish to notify: - I.E. whenever a notify trigger happens - you have control over the hours of operation of such triggers and whether or not a simultaneous audible signal is generated. The trigger can also be set off manually, immediately. The start screen has two green buttons - one to show if monitoring is currently on / off (green / grey) and the other to show Recent Activity (within the last minute). Operations require allowing Notify to use your personal email settings, to send email notifications out. The author strongly advises sending a test message, just to make sure these important messages will be delivered reliably. The Settings screen grab (below) shows fields containing some example "fake" text.
