The Fediverse is a large group of independently-run servers running the microblogging and feed aggregating software called ActivityPub.
Together these servers have millions of users, and are a big step toward cross-platform feed compatibility.
Join the Fediverse...Follow your favourite tech and news feeds without clogging up your email, using an open source platform that doesn't track you or collect your personal data!
To show how the Fediverse works, Anne will demonstrate Mastodon, which has no advertising or algorithms pushing sponsored content.
