Tor is free software for enabling anonymous communication.
Tor directs Internet traffic through a free, worldwide, volunteer network consisting of more than seven thousand relays to conceal a user's location and usage from anyone conducting network surveillance or traffic analysis. Using Tor makes it more difficult for Internet activity to be traced back.
David Goulet has been a Linux open source software developer for many years. Before joining The Tor Project, he maintained part of the LTTng project (lttng.org) while working at EfficiOS Inc. He is also an active developer of the Off-the-record project which provides end-to-end secure communications.
