Meeting Date June 09, 2005 |
On Thursday, June 9, 2005 we welcome Cheryl Wray, founder of Sewer's Forum - a progressive network of sewing clubs, which are designed to spread the love of sewing through communication and continuing education. Cheryl will discuss "Computers & Sewing - 2005" Whether designing quilts, clothing or fabric, transferring photos, digitizing your own embroidery patterns or making your own silk screens, computers play a very large part today both in the professional and home sewing environment. It isn't unusual today for a computer virus or a malfunctioning hard drive to delay the completion of a project. Join us as we check out just a few of the many roles performed by the computer in today's sewing world. The Club's General Meetings are held the second Thursday of each month at Faith United Church, 1778 Nash Road in Courtice, 7:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend.
