Double feature presentation at computer club

On Thursday, June 10th, the Durham PC Users' Club will get twice their usual fix of computer information.

  • Part 1: Computer and Internet Investing Made Easy

Club member Ed Goudge will present Tool Kit, a financial software programme made by NIAC (National Investors Association Corporation).

Ed will focus on Tool Kit's four key points on which to base investment decisions. Namely:

    • Is this a good growth company?
    • Is it in a good buy category or priced too high?
    • Are stocks likely to increase three times in the next while or likely to go down?
    • Can you reasonably expect a 15 percent yearly profit?

Then based on these four points, Ed will compare results, guide you in making judgment calls, and suggest strategies to avoiding investment pitfalls.

  • Part 2: Adobe's Digital Imaging Techniques

This will feature a training CD on Digital Imaging Techniques, made in conjunction with Adobe Photoshop and Cinema Software.

This training CD on Digital Imaging Techniques will enlighten anyone who works with Adobe Photoshop, demonstrate what is possible, and what those extra buttons are for.

Note: This training is directed at both MAC and PC users.

The Club's General Meetings are held the second Thursday of each month at Faith United Church, 1778 Nash Road in Courtice, 7:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend.
