LES SHAW

Les is the man with the idea. The vision created what is now the successful live show The Computer Mechanics. It all began when Les was volunteering at Rogers Television in Durham. He came up with a TV show idea where people could call in with their computer questions to get help. The show took off and Les went with it forging ahead into new frontiers that led to The Computer Mechanics message board and popular website.

Born and raised in Oshawa, Les has worked in the computer field for 16 years in all areas from corporate, retail and service. He has certifications in Novell, Microsoft, IBM and Compaq. Les has combined his passion for teaching, computers and sharing his knowledge to create The Computer Mechanics community.

"Junior", as he is known by his family, lives by the mantra "You don’t need to be a mechanic to drive a car and you don’t need to be a technician to use a computer!" His future goal is "To rule the world with technology".
