Raspberry Pi - As easy as PI?
Presented by Peter Camilleri

"We made a toy for children... and people took it to all sorts of exciting places."
Ebon Upton
- Founder of the Raspberry PI Foundation
- CEO of Raspberry PI (Trading) Ltd.

The Raspberry PI is a compact, inexpensive computer that has taken the world by storm. It is one brand among dozens of these little credit card sized machines that seem to multiply at an incredible rate. Keeping up with the new machines is like facing a constant tsunami of products.

Still, the question that arises is where do these machines fit in? What are they good at?

In this talk we will examine the credit card sized computer segment, focusing on the Raspberry PI and look at how it can be useful and who will find it effective and who will find it gathering dust.

The Club's General Meetings are held the second Thursday of each month at Faith United Church, 1778 Nash Road in Courtice, 7:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend.
