Lost … Learning how GPS can help

Michael Cammock from Durham GPS will be on hand to educate you on the latest in Global Positioning System services. These popular devices are gaining widespread use and offered as standard equipment in many cars.

Michael will talk about the background of GPS technology, areas of industry and recreation where it is in regular use. Some of the newest features offered by current personal navigation devices, and GPS developments, live traffic service which keeps you up to date on changing road conditions, gas prices, points of interest, and points of interest ratings. Once you use a GPS device to find where you’re going you’ll forget about your map book and front seat arguments with your significant other will be a thing of the past.

You will remember Michael from Anne Delongs GPS presentation in October 2006.

The Club's General Meetings are held the second Thursday of each month at Faith United Church, 1778 Nash Road in Courtice, 7:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend.
