Current and Future Technologies

April 23, 2004, Oshawa, ON With so many options available, choosing the right computer technology to meet your needs isn't easy. Knowing what is available, what to look for and what to avoid can be challenging. Bestbyte can help walk you through this process.

On Thursday, May 13, Dan Saul and Teg Spencer (sales representatives at Bestbyte Computer in Whitby) will enlighten the computer Club with the latest and best in current computer technology - specifically LCD monitors and DVD burners (plus RW and minus RW). Fast forwarding to future technology, Dan and Teg will also discuss the BTX Form Factor (which addresses overheating issues in computer cases), PCI Express, and time permitting, Intel's future processor with its BGA (Ball Grid Array) chip configuration.

This May 13 event is also the Club's Annual General Meeting.

The Club's General Meetings are held the second Thursday of each month at Faith United Church, 1778 Nash Road in Courtice, 7:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend.
