What’s Happening to our Electricity?

The Durham PC Users’ Club will hold its next monthly meeting on Thursday, December 12, 2002. The topic to be presented is "The Electrical Industry of Ontario and its affect on us" as seen through the eyes of D. J. Pitman, Manager Corporate Communications, Oshawa PUC Networks Inc.

With public interest in mind, Don Pitman will inform the Club about the Electrical Industry ReRegulation since May 1, 2002. We have heard so much about this issue in the news the last few weeks - now is the time to get the information clarified. Fixed income people particularly are finding the ReRegulation extremely difficult to handle.

Don has held a number of senior positions with the Oshawa PUC Networks Inc. and its predecessor, Oshawa Public Utilities Commission. Currently, as Manager of Corporate Communications, he explains the new electrical world to the consumers.

Note: This 7:00 P.M. monthly Club meeting is the last one to be held at the McLaughlin Public Library, 65 Bagot Street, Oshawa.
Subsequent Club meetings will be held at Faith United Church in Courtice.
